# Information Security Policy

UnlockJapan, Inc. ("we"), as a company that supports AI adoption, DX, and business growth and that plans, develops, and operates its own products, regards protecting the information entrusted to us by customers and our own information assets as a key management priority. We hereby establish this Information Security Policy (the "Policy"), which all officers and employees commit to upholding together.

## 1. Basic policy

We maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets and strive to prevent security incidents, thereby earning the trust of our customers, partners, and society.

## 2. Scope

This Policy applies to all information assets handled in our business activities and to everyone who accesses them, including officers, employees, and contractors.

## 3. Governance

The Representative Director serves as the officer with ultimate responsibility for information security and maintains an organizational structure to properly manage and protect information assets.

## 4. Compliance

We comply with applicable laws and regulations — including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the Act on Prohibition of Unauthorized Computer Access — as well as government guidelines, other norms, and contractual obligations.

## 5. Safeguards

Based on risk assessment, we implement organizational, human, technical, and physical safeguards such as access control, multi-factor authentication, encryption of data in transit and at rest (e.g. SSL/TLS), and timely software updates.

## 6. Education and awareness

We provide ongoing information security education and awareness programs for officers and employees to maintain and improve security literacy.

## 7. Contractor management

When outsourcing work, we select contractors after assessing their information security standards and supervise them appropriately.

## 8. Incident response

We strive to prevent security incidents. Should one occur, we will promptly act to minimize damage, investigate the cause, and prevent recurrence, reporting to affected parties and the relevant authorities as necessary.

## 9. Continuous improvement

We periodically review this Policy and related internal rules in light of changes in the business environment, technology, and threats, and continuously improve our information security.
